A beautiful design isn't everything when it comes to kitchen design, your kitchen needs to work as hard as you do. We put as much thought into where you store your garbage bags and twist ties as you will put into picking the perfect kitchen faucet. With our 32 years combined experience and Lynne's Bachelors degree in Housing with an emphasis in design and space planning, we are here to explain and help you select everything from drop zones to electrical outlet placement. We are committed to continuing our education by pursuing our NKBA certifications. This means we will always be on top of the latest trends and standards to make your kitchen complete.
Design
The most important part of any kitchen project is the design. This is why the designers at North Iowa Kitchens will never rush you. Our designers are trained to take things one step at a time. Our first step is to talk with you about your current kitchen. We will ask what you like about your current kitchen and what you would like to change. Also, how many small appliances do you use on a daily basis and how do you cook and shop? The next step is space considerations. Finally, we will move on to selection door styles, colors, wood and stain options and plumbing and lighting fixtures. Will you require assistance with installation? What about plumbing or electrical changes? We work closely with several trade professionals and can help you locate the correct assistance you need to complete you project.
